the challenge

We needed to create a brand that captured the essence of vets, the military, and the family that is created there. The goal was to create a brand that spoke to that, as well as connecting with vets who have returned. The concept of vets helping vets.

the solution

We set out to create a brand that connected with new vets integrating with their new community, while respecting and keeping their military one. The brand needed to connect to both sides and show how it helps integrate them together.

the results

We created a brand language that went with the name, Operation DD214. DD214 is the official discharge papers you get when you are no longer in military service. It’s the break off point between military community as your main home, and returning “home”. We created the logo, branding, gift boxes, t-shirts, and social media assets to get it launched.
